At the end of June 2023, QuickBooks is discontinuing its desktop service in the UK, and will instead focus all future product development on Quickbooks Online.

In order to help their desktop customers migrate to the QuickBooks Online service and enjoy all the advantages of cloud accounting, QuickBooks is partnering with Movemybooks.

QuickBooks will pay for any QuickBooks Desktop user to migrate their accounting data to QuickBooks Online. This will allow you to easily and quickly move all your customer and supplier information, your Chart of Accounts and all transaction history from the current financial year and previous year to your new cloud account, for FREE. Within a couple of hours you can be up and running in QuickBooks Online with all your familiar financial information.

If you use Classes information on transactions, this information will also be migrated FREE of charge.
